Facilitator

POSTION OPEN

Immediate Start; Part-Time; Must be available to work 4pm to 8pm Monday through Thursday (days are flexible) and Saturdays 10am to 2pm with teens ; BCBA or MFT supervision hours can be provided

General Overview: The Facilitator will assist the teacher with students. This includes assisting and redirecting students when needed. Retrieving snacks. Leading a small group discussion and game time. The Facilitator must be familiar with lesson being taught (review lesson prior to class with teacher). The Facilitator may also be required to teach classes. The facilitator will understand how to collect data and will do so during class. The facilitator will retrieve lesson materials and hand-outs as well as make photo copies as needed. The facilitator will attend outings that are scheduled for groups. The facilitator will send out weekly e-mails to parent and young adult students weekly. The facilitator must arrive 10 minutes early before lesson starts and remain until all students have been picked up. The facilitator will make sure all materials are put away and tables are wiped down before leaving. Classroom lights need to be turned off and both doors locked.

Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Working on Degree in Psychology, Special Education, and related Degrees

  • Experience Preferred Professional or Personal working with autism and related disorders.

  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience or basic knowledge preferred

  • Vaccination card

Required to obtain once hired if you do not have:

  • TB Test

  • Life scan

  • ABA training preferred with younger children

  • CPR and First Aide Certificate preferred

Pay Range: Starts at $20 per hour (depending on experience)
